The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

God has been very good to me since I left Penn State. I spent a year at Little America, Antarctica 1956-57, three years in aviation weather forecasting in the Air Force, married Ann Ruesler (who I met at church), and we had three children. Our family did more meteorology stuff in northern Alaska for two years, but then I felt the call to become a Lutheran pastor. We were privileged to plant two congregations before I became a missionary to the Jews-sharing the good news of Jesus the Messiah with Jewish people. I am now semi-semi-retired, but I am still teaching/preaching with a new concern to also share the Gospel with Muslims. We have eight beautiful grandchildren and will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary on April 18, 2009. I have wonderful memories of Penn State. It was a blessing to me.
